Set on a steeply sloping site, this dwelling comands the hillside with contemporary form. The design features two main volumes, one for dwelling and another for work. This juxtaposition of forms are divided by the formal entry to the house.
The work volume sits atop the carport and the dwelling volume is positioned higher with the lower level an open living area with swimming pool in view and a sleeping volume above.
Materials help define the spaces and the architectural forms, establishing a cohessive whole.
